The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015
is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified
companies for the provision of Public Relations services.
EOI submissions will be evaluated against specific criteria with respondents who qualify then invited to prepare detailed proposals as part of a tender process. Ultimately, the successful company will work closely with the ICC and LOC which has offices in Melbourne, Australia and Wellington, New Zealand. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be played in venues across both countries in February and March 2015.
Supported by the ICC, the LOC will design and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications campaign to promote the tournament in conjunction with a creative agency and other partners. The chosen agency will provide services to support this campaign across a range of platforms in Australia and New Zealand and in other key markets such as South Africa, India, USA and the UK. For this reason only agencies capable of operating globally need apply.
Critical to success will be the application of bespoke research, market segmentation and the latest Public Relations techniques including the integration of digital elements into campaigns. Applicants will need to demonstrate considerable experience and insights into major events and cricket culture.
The deadline for responses to the Public Relations Services EOI is 1000hrs Australian Eastern Summer Time on Thursday 31 January 2013. Interested parties can find the relevant documents and lodgment details or download from here.
