Shahid Afridi ended his contract with Sydney Thunders despite Pakistan Cricket Board's NOC to play Big Bash 2012.

Reason behind Afridi's decision is to play Domestic Cricket in Pakistan and regain his form and match fitness.

This news came after the chairman selection committee Iqbal Qasim's statement that Afridi will not be an automatic choice for the India tour.
